"Shows that the brutal, shocking and disturbing footage we see on the news is just the tip of the iceberg."
85 80% Aftersun (2022) - Rated 20 Dec 2023
"I have to marvel at the amount of sheer raw talent of all involved here in turning something as inherently horrible as British people vacationing at an all inclusive resort in the late 90’s into a work of art. Amazing achievement."

"Politiken plus som Læs og Forstå-bog"
65 46% The Bourne Supremacy (2004) - Rated 16 Nov 2023
"Took what was great about the first one, removed it and then vigorously started shaking the camera. Relax, Paul! He’s just googling som shit on a PC in a café. No need to go all Cinema of Chaos on it."
80 70% The Bourne Identity (2002) - Rated 14 Nov 2023
"Wonderful christmas movie about a workaholic who experiences memory loss and along his journey to find who he really is, discovers true love. It has quite a lot of car chases and spy action stuff but somehow never looses its simplicity and rather calm and “un-hectic” vibe. Mission Impossible meets Before Sunrise."
75 60% Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation (2015) - Rated 09 Nov 2023
"Next up in the my-wife-watches-the-MI-movies-as-I-lay-on-the-sofa-with-my-phone marathon is “The one where Tom Cruise rides a motorcycle while wearing a rather unflattering shirt and it somehow makes it on to the film poster” which is a rock solid action film that made me put down my phone and applaude Sean Harris as A-grade villain material only to pick it to Google Rebecca Ferguson."
45 21% Mission: Impossible 2 (2000) - Rated 07 Nov 2023
"The John Woo-ness of it all just doesn’t work here. It’s all there, but somehow put together all wrong. And this is not me being snobbish, because it all came together spectacularly well in Face/Off. I would love to watch the 3,5 hour version, though."
85 80% Midsommar (2019) - Rated 06 Nov 2023
"If you only watch one break-up movie set in sunny Sweden this year. This should definitely be on your short list."
75 60% Train to Busan (2016) - Rated 06 Nov 2023
"Solid stuff although some of the zombie scenes have a bit of a mobile oncoming-horde-game vibe to them. But all in all, time well spent with loveable characters and one rich, entitled arsehole."
70 52% The Witch (2016) - Rated 17 Oct 2023
"Religious people leave other religious people to make it on their own and then everything goes tits up in a blaze of paranoia and superstition all the while I don’t really care about anyone involved. Excellent allegory of America, I guess. I feel as if I am owed a “Chaos reigns” from that goat, though."
