This is a mental film, harrowing and intense. Yes it's torture porn and yes it's tough to watch but it's a good film

Goodfellas (1990) - Rated 24 Feb 2013

Superb film but lacks the subtely of Godfather which is the benchmark for me. Marked down for being too gratuitous and because i found the narration quite tedious. Still a great film. 9/10

Salò, or The 120 Days Of Sodom (1975) - Rated 24 Feb 2013

I feel a little dirty stating my love for this film but I really do. This is a great, thought provoking film about the horrors of fascism. I love the music and artistic cinematography. I love the unflinchingly blatant weirdness, it's like nothing i've seen before. 9/10
