Bio: I like movies for more than just entertainment. They can obviously provide that, but for me they are a way of filtering the world, connecting to people, and escaping from the world and from people. I try to watch a film a day, a new one as much as possible but i am a sucker for re-watching the same films multiple times.

"The best in the franchise. Del Toro brought his twisted imagination to this film to make it a fun, oftentimes uneasy superhero film that broke the mould. Blade showed us that super-hero films could be serious, this showed us they can be dark, and Trinity showed us that Ryan Reynolds should be band from saying dialogue. But this film is great."

Although at least two of this films sequels have surpassed it in almost ever way, this film remains a great 90s action movie full of fantastic action, above average acting, tight direction, a great score and an interesting plot, albeit generic. One major complaint about this film is that the screenplay is merely functional. There are so few memorable lines, Something that has continued to be the case in the franchise."

"Overrated. Sure there is some fun dialogue, the acting is fine and the CGI is great. But this film is one of the most overrated films in recent memory. This isn't the words of a marvel-hater, i loved Guardians and Iron man is pretty good, but this film is just..fine. The jokes are cheap and easy, the action for the most part is uninspired and it doesn't have the gravitas that it should have. By far the best part of this film is seeing our beloved characters together, which is awesome to see."

"This is Scorsese's most underrated film. The cinematography is breathtaking, the acting of Di Caprio and Ruffalo is superb, and the film is deceivingly clever. Not the twist itself necessarily which was done way back in 1920 with The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, but the way its handled and hinted at is masterful. This is a film that really benefits from repeat viewings and any film that can achieve that deserves immense respect. Not Goodfella's or Taxi Driver, but a damn good film."
