88 50% Up in the Air (2009) - Rated 27 Aug 2010
"George Clooney is first-class in Up In The Air. Amazing actors and actresses. A rare plot line makes this movie different from the rest. A must see! It completely surprises viewers. The ending is saddening but a nice twist is always good. Plus, not every movie has to be light-hearted and happy!"
85 33% National Treasure (2004) - Rated 27 Aug 2010
"Who doesn't like Nicolas Cage? A great actor and perfect fit for this film. Even though the use of some historical items may be twisted to fit the plot line, it is amazing to learn some American history at the same time. Like something from a Dan Brown novel, National Treasure envelops the viewer and suspends until the end!"
60 0% Knight and Day (2010) - Rated 27 Aug 2010
"Knight and Day relies solely on the star power of Cruise and Diaz. Therefore, it lacks actual quality in the dialogue. Knight and Day focuses on cheap one-liners that are corny at best. Definitely a movie that one should watch only when stuck on a desert island and there are no other movies to see. And the best part of your day in this case is that there is no DVD player! You might just be the luckiest person alive..."
95 83% Inception (2010) - Rated 27 Aug 2010
"While the idea of dreaming is nothing new to film, this movie goes above and beyond what anybody could of imagined before. A complete mind blower, Inception can turn the brightest of thinkers upside down. Even the confused audience though can find it an adventure to watch. The ending is superior to typical conclusions and will leave the viewer craving even more!"
90 66% Avatar (2009) - Rated 27 Aug 2010
"Amazing film from beginning to end! This film thrusts you into the land of the Na'vi never wanting to leave. Watching in 3D Imax entrances the viewer due to the flawless CGI Cameron creates. A must see for all people. The sheer amount of people all the over world that have seen Avatar demonstrate that this is something great! Weaver with an amazing comeback role!"
77 16% Dinner for Schmucks (2010) - Rated 27 Aug 2010
"The hype that surrounds Steve Carell as a title character precedes itself. The rising action can easily be characterized as boring and slow. Dinner for Schmucks had many hilarious interjections, but were loosely spread out through the entire film. The actual dinner part was the liveliest part but was cut short due to the rest of the movie. The acting though, on the other hand, was superior."
