A great film driven by an incredible performance from the weirdest looking person in Hollywood, Benedict Cumberbatch.

Unbroken (2014) - Rated 02 Jan 2015
You know, I really wanted to like this film because the real life story is amazing. But that's just it, it's a great story about survival. The dialogue was crap and "the feel good moments" are almost overbearing in their cheesiness. Read the novel instead because the story of Louie Zamperini is one that needs to be told but skip out on this Oscar-Bait movie.

Foxcatcher (2014) - Rated 23 Dec 2014
I am still shaking after this film. One of the best of the year. Steve Carrell is terrifying, displaying one of the best performances of the year. If he doesn't win Best Actor I will be very surprised. Highly Recommended!!
