"Yeah, this is really good."
85 30% The House Bunny (2008) - Rated 26 Feb 2024
"Not sure why so many people dislike it; I thought it was a pretty tongue-in-cheek view on womanhood. In the end, all of the self-aware/biting sarcasm of the film seems to support the idea that "The House Bunny" posits a necessity for women to strive for hotness in society, but not necessarily that it glorifies, supports, or approves of the idea."

"It definitely makes you think. REALLY pulled the rug out from under me in a lot of ways."
91 56% Peaky Blinders (2013) - Rated 26 Feb 2024
"The magic in this movie feels real; compelling characters and a well-written storyline."
85 30% Narcos (2015) - Rated 26 Feb 2024
"Love that most of the show is in Spanish; and while you shouldn't pull your history from TV shows, I love the documentary-styled approach. Really puts you on the ground with the DEA."
95 76% Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022) - Rated 26 Feb 2024
"Love the main themes: the double-edged sword of uncompromising kindness and the wisdom in embracing absurdity. Refreshingly astute mediation on modern life, and a beautifully nuanced depiction of modern inter-generational relationships strained by the increasingly rapid change in core values and morals between parents and children."
85 30% Criminal Minds (2005) - Rated 26 Feb 2024
"A great comfort show for me. I come back to this time and time again when I need something playing in the background, or something fresh but familiar."
92 63% Barbie (2023) - Rated 26 Feb 2024
"This film is childhood nostalgia all grown-up; pensive and reflective, but funny and charming. In love with the film's abstract position on the notion of femininity."
80 13% Bottoms (2023) - Rated 26 Feb 2024
"Tongue-in-cheek and brazenly raw. Funny. Love the queer overtones."
