"Refn is trying way too hard to be David Lynch here, while completely missing the point that there's a plot buried underneath the weird imagery of a lynch film (yes, i get it: Chang is a metaphor for god, that doesn't constitute a cohesive story). It's a beautiful, intriguing, unforgettable film, but it has an undercooked plot and some of the worst dialogue imaginable."
