92% Child 44 Child 44 (2015) - Rated 14 May 2015
"Has the world gone mad? Drivel like Avengers: AoU manages to get decent ratings while Child 44 gets absolutely butchered, while being vastly superior. It has quite an epic scope and a running time to boot. There isn't anything wrong with this film. The only thing that could be blamed is the trailer, which makes it look like a straight up serial killer flick. Child 44 encapsulates much more. It is a historical drama accompanied by thriller elements. Oldman: "The bigger killer is the government.""

"GC: SatPoB is basically another (well made) outing of the moronic cult called Scientology. Most of what we see and hear is already known, apart from some inside information, from former high-placed members. However it does illustrate very clearly how it was created, spread and embedded in today's reality. There is no doubt that Scientology was created by a mad fantasist in a time where people were very receptive to these 'lies'. The ideology of this cult needs to be eradicated, as it is pure evil."
92% Michiel de Ruyter Michiel de Ruyter (2015) - Rated 03 Feb 2015
"Wow, what a film. I cannot believe it was made with a 'shoe string budget' of 8 million Euro. Reiné paints his canvas of the Dutch 'Golden Age' 17th century highly dynamic and in rich colors. It's easy to see he put his heart and soul into this project,a delight to see.I watched this film about 100 meters away from the place the brothers de Witt were murdered by Orangist savages, felt strange. All in all MdR is epic defined and entertains immensely. Reiné had a dream and went for it. Well done"
59% Frozen Frozen (2010) - Rated 12 Sep 2010
"Unlike what many 'professional/paid' critics have stated, this movie is pretty damn solid. Well developed characters, good acting, adequate direction and a terrifying plot. The film itself came overall as very 'real', with real people, with real conversations and the possibility to actually happen. People who expect Hollywood-esque effects and an over the top plot better stay away, for this movie is considerably more low key, yet -very- effective."
92% Paradise Lost: The Child Murders at Robin Hood Hills Paradise Lost: The Child Murders at Robin Hood Hills (1996) - Rated 11 May 2011
"Whether or not the West Memphis Three are guilty, this is one hell of a documentary. Remains interesting until the very last minute and keeps you on the edge of your seat. Gripping."
16% Gravity Gravity (2013) - Rated 04 Oct 2013
"Avatar all over again. What the actual f-ck is Miss Congeniality doing in space? Who hired her as an astronaut should be put to sleep. The most overrated piece of trash of 2013. I have no clue why this is getting rave reviews galore, quality severely is lacking and over the top idiotic. It feels very manipulative and everything that could go wrong actually goes wrong. Bullock is horribly miscast and annoys the sh-t out of me throughout. Gravity is a hollow 3D showcase of new CGI techniques."
92% Guardians of the Galaxy Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) - Rated 29 Aug 2014
"SO. MUCH. AWESOME. It's pretty incredible how much fun this movie is. Very well made and pristine CGI quality. Everything about it is great, from the actors to the make up, to the script and story, the soundtrack, etc the list goes on. Like Downey Jr. said it is the best Marvel film to date, there's no denying. It sh-ts all over Avengers, basically. I was lucky enough to view it in 2D, as 3D is a crime against humanity. I am looking very much forward to the sequel. I am Groot, b-tches...!"
92% Cocaine Cowboys Cocaine Cowboys (2006) - Rated 07 Apr 2013
"Must watch for all who like/love Scarface and other mafia movies. Turns out the truth was even worse than fiction. Great documentary about Miami's extremely violent past and how it flourished from it. Riveting."
16% Enemy Enemy (2014) - Rated 28 Apr 2014
"Not particularly profound, nor deep, as it so hard tries to be. The film drags and at times highly tedious, the script is muddled and simply too vague to even remotely translate well to the screen. If I want to make a jigsaw puzzle I will choose to do so, but to read a page long explanation by some random dude after the credits roll shouldn't be a necessity. In that case the director doesn't understand the craft of filmmaking."
59% Skyfall Skyfall (2012) - Rated 11 Nov 2012
"Sadly, Skyfall falls short of its immense hype. Some things are done beautifully, others not so much. Deakins' cinematography is brilliant, Bardem is menacing, Mendes is quite on top of his game and Craig more or less delivers. The script, story and too many borrowed elements from other films make this film impress less than I expected. Better than QoS, yet doesn't reach the level of Casino Royale. Skyfall misses the 'soul' of Bond. Next up: Nolan? If you please."
