"A terribly tedious film not even enlivened by the normally superb Jodie Foster. Its as if someone dreamed a contemporary fear and cast her into the role with a decent storyline. I found little in this film that is redeeming."
85 40% Flatliners (1990) - Rated 23 Nov 2016
"Perhaps this film is one that is more dated than others of the same era. But nevertheless this dark themed film works well though there is a subliminal message that i find jarring."
90 60% V for Vendetta (2006) - Rated 23 Nov 2016
"You dont have to be an anarchist to enjoy this film but a certain disposition to Libertarian views will chime with the writers message. A kind of SciFi meets political activism film that engages and entertains."
80 25% Snatch (2000) - Rated 23 Nov 2016
"Probably suitable to UK film lovers but still a great tale well crafted by Guy Richie.Brad Pitt scores high with his accurate portrayal and accent of Traveller. Not quite as good as "Lock Stock and Two Barrels" but a fun watch"
95 85% Fight Club (1999) - Rated 23 Nov 2016
"i cant think of a story that is as original as this one. Its a kind of psychodrama but rattles along into a social dystopia. This film requires no great effort to watch it simply takes you to another world that may be out there."
95 85% Pulp Fiction (1994) - Rated 23 Nov 2016
"Tarantino broke the mould with this film. The format has no regular timeline and disturbs easy viewing but if you hang with this film it gives so much through its Art House type style. The characters and story have never been bettered and this film is one that you will return to many times if you enjoy the first or in my case the second time.Totally groundbreaking stuff and quotes that you wont forget."
90 60% The Sixth Sense (1999) - Rated 23 Nov 2016
"Bruce Willis excels i this film showing a depth to his acting skills. A touching film that grips the viewer."
95 85% The Godfather (1972) - Rated 23 Nov 2016
"a feast on the eyes a great script and what a story. A must see film for anyone."
85 40% Layer Cake (2004) - Rated 23 Nov 2016
"A superb tale with interesting characters. This thriller has fullfills though i think it is 20 minutes too long. One of the best British gangster films ever."
75 15% Moulin Rouge! (2001) - Rated 23 Nov 2016
"Colourful and visually spectacular. A kind of niche song and dance film i my opinion."
