"scream started the generation of mystery thrillers. after this film came out there were 5 other scream wannabes. this is one of my favorite craven films and on Halloween i still find myself watching this film. there are some really lame lines throughout the film but that is what made this film so entertaining."

"even though this film was filmed on a low budget i still enjoyed the film. there is a deeper meaning to this film than rape, murder, and mayhem. the underlining meaning, to this film, is not placed in well but it shows that craven had more in mind than just trying to gross people out."
