"Very decent let's-crack-open-the-skull-of-Gwyneth-Paltrow movie. Unfortunately it has to many stories to tell and therefore end up loosing it's focus. It could easily have bennefitted from cutting out e.g. the Cotillard part. Nice cinematography and for once I wasn't extremely annoyed by Soderbergh's usually irritating, jazzy soundtrack."

"Adapting Tintin to the big screen seemed a mission impossible, but Spielberg and Jackson does a great job combining Herge's penstrokes and fantastic storyline with a 2011 touch of action. The first part is very true to the "Unicorn" cartoon, and once we are introduced to Haddock S&J makes their changes. Some works and some doesn't but if you're not short of breath after watching Haddock explaining about his ancestors or the chase scene down the city, go watch an art-movie and wank off!"

"Funny and yet a bit tragic, cause Morris has managed to make a film about one of the things the western world both fears and fights the most, but with great irony and a plot that (unlike Hollywood films on the same topic) makes you laugh instead of tremble and thats a healthy point of view... And you gotta love these guys, especially their choice of costumes for the marathon and the idea of having specially trained crows with minibombs fly in to stuff and blow it up..."

"Time fly's by when you're with Celine and Jesse cause you're so caught up in their conversations and that's what makes this one of the best written films I've seen. Combined with the long takes with nothing but talk and the streets of Vienna as background it gives you the feeling of being there with them and that's an acomplishment! Agreed that the plot sounds really boring with the guy and the girl walking around during their one night togehter but Linklater, Delpy and Hawke makes it perfect!"

"Jim Carrey is like an ex-girlfriend! I used to love him very much and when I didn't love him anymore I still wanted the best for him. Now, as time has passed, I just don't give a shit, but is still reminded of how great it once was, when I once in a while stumble upon the old pictures..."

"Unlike your cock it will definitely grow on you. Unlike most cocks it is way to long.
Unlike anyones cock it needs an extra viewing."

90 96% | Anvil! The Story of Anvil (2009) - Rated 05 Oct 2010
"I just fell in love. In love with Robb, Lips and Anvil! So close to hitting it big in the 80's, but yet so far away. Nonetheless, 35 years later, they are still rocking. Literally! Anvil is much more than just the story of a "we almost made it band", it is a story about spirit, believing in yourself, positivity, not giving up and last, but not the least, about the wonderful lifelong friendship between two guys who just wants to rock n' roll! Thank you Anvil, for sticking around!"

"Chuck Palahniuks brilliant novel is brought to life by a tour de force of directing and acting. I've seen this film more than 30 times and it still amazes me. The dialogue, the plot and how both Palahniuk and Fincher hits the nail on the head with their description of the Y2K man and all the existentialistic questions that he fights with. If you haven't seen it, see it and then see it again. Oh.... And read the book..."

90 96% | Another Year (2010) - Rated 03 Mar 2011
"Admitted, Im not the biggest Leigh fan, but this one is hard not to praise! Everything from the great script to the amazing cast (especially a magnificent Broadbent) works like a charm in this engaging, realistic, down to earth drama about love, life and family. By letting the plot evolve in and around Tom and Gerry's relationship and not showing us the other stories, Leigh allows us to visualise the miserable life of Ken, Mary and Ronnie ourselves and thats what makes Another Year a great film!"
