"Definitely mis-marketed. There should have been much more emphasis placed on the fantasy aspect of this movie and that it is a children's tale. The advertising I've seen has tried to sell it as a creepy suspense film. Go into it expecting a fairy tale/kids movie, and you'll enjoy it much more. The overt digs at Hollywood/critics and overt self-praise are pretty amusing, too."

"I really enjoy this movie because of my affinity for Chris Farley. The plot is pretty flimsy, but it's good enough to set up different gags. At least check this movie out for the sequence that involves Farley trying to get the egg of a bald eagle."

"Really and underrated movie because, hell, I don't think it's rated at all. I don't know of anyone outside of my circle of friends who has seen it. It's a pretty good movie with a pretty good soundtrack (from what I remember). It's got Dawson playing the role of an a-hole jock, so there's something for everyone."
