"An interesting art style of imitation but it houses content of smutty, illegitimate value."

"I'll give it that a lot of effort was put into this film and also it is a guilty pleasure for many. But stereotypical charterers, wonky plot and shitty pacing ruin the film for me."

"A fine film. Good comic timing and visual inventiveness. Lovable characters and a fine plethora of references."

"Poor set up of jokes for me. Only really works if you know the comics as relies on the reverse of expectation the really charecters are. Blah."

"Wes anderson's films, although lacking in deep spiritualism, are a fun time out at the films. They grip you with their plots and stun with the symmetrical framing. Insert a chortle or two and you're on your way."

"Although this holds a strong place in my heart, I know it to be flawed. Obnoxious message, color palette, symbolism and characters, it stings of the art student's immature view of the world. It also suffers from a lack of rewatchability from above elements. Saying that, it can be a beautiful film and that immature view is worth checking out every once in a while for a new perspective in this dreary world. A fine sam mendes effort."

80 87% | A Trip to the Moon (1902) - Rated 31 Aug 2015
"Of course story is not that developed but if you notice a lot of science fiction films are based on it inc promethius, alien. For the time revolutionary in editing, sets, costume, effects well, everything really. The one bad thing I can say is that I don't really care for the alien conflict. They just feel like spawned enemies. But other than that a short spectacle that'll let you talk with any film scholar. Fine use of colour by the way. a fine film."
