Raising Arizona (1987) - Rated 28 Mar 2011
"Coen, schmoen. The fact that Nicholas Cage's movie career (notice I didn't call it an acting career) ever went beyond Raising Arizona makes hating the film mandatory for me. It's not a complete piece of garbage, but it's at the bottom of the can and the can hasn't been cleaned out since a Quayle was in the Whitehouse."

"Pleasantly raw. Evil in all the right places.
Trying to decipher the dialect was a bit of a challenge, but it didn't make the film any less enjoyable. Dead Man's Shoes is one of the most gripping, original revenge films of all time."

"Raging Bull was terrible. Reprehensible even. DeNiro has done a couple great films and a lot of terrible ones. This was one of the terrible ones. Raging Bull was to me like if Enzo Ferrari, Ferruccio Lamborghini and Ferdinand Porsche all got together to design a vehicle and came up with the Gremlin. What a waste."
