Twin sisters Rosemary and Susie Allison are successful nightclub performers. Their act is about to come to a close when serious-minded Rosemary announces she's joining the Waves. They return from their expedition with a film purporting to show some stone age stooges defending their women from other cavemen. Shemp dies but cannot get into heaven until he reforms Moe and Larry. Don't expect much in the way of a plot from Kick Me Again. When a married student falls for her portly dance instructor, Puffy is forced to flee in a ballet tutu from the clutches of her jealous husband. The usual slapstick complications ensue before the cross-dressing funnyman finally locates a new suit of clothes. The viewing pleasure comes not from the run-of-the-mill gags and storyline but from seeing a master wring every ounce of comedy from his ungainly outfit.

Shemp Howard, in this Columbia All-Star Comedy (production number 7438), knows many ways to get into trouble with his wife, and one he opts for here is stay out late playing poker with the boys and then tell his wife he has been working. (imdb)

In this Columbia All-Star Comedy (production number 8425), Vera Vague (Barbara Jo Allen) plays twins, with one being a shy spinster and the other Vera's usual aggressive man-chaser. They switch dates, and the spinster's sedate boy friend is confronted with the not-shy Vera, while Vera's passionate beau ends up with the dry-and-shy spinster.

Sterling's physique doesn't impress his girlfriend's father, who is a bodybuilder. She decides to pump him up in order to get her father's approval.

This Columbia All Star Comedy (production number 9427) finds Gus Shilling discovering that a cranky wife (Dorothy Granger) isn't the worst thing after shell-shocked veteran Dick Lane shows up. Gus invites him to a lamb-chop breakfast---not an appealing breakfast to begin with---and learns that the sound of a whistle sets bells ringing in Dick's head. Whistles, from one source or another, including Gus' wife who isn't all that thrilled about Dick coming to breakfast, start and Dick goes crazy.

Harry, who plays a gangster on a radio show, is mistaken for a real one.
