An adaptation of Belle de Jour, set in the 1980s in Istanbul.

A young woman named Melek is convicted of murder. The film follows the trial and through flashbacks the story behind the murder is revealed. Melek, an illiterate orphan, is working as a maid for an old and wealthy guy named Hüsrev. Hüsrev is impotent and he invites other guys home so he can watch them make love to Melek. One of these guys, Yalçin, falls in love with Melek and decides to save her by murdering Hüsrev. The film is based on the 1979 novel with the same title by Pinar Kür.

Sibel and Riza, who have an unhappy marriage, go on a long journey together. The couple is kidnapped by a gang of four while they are taking a break. Searching for the gang, the police think that the kidnapped couple is complicit in the crimes. Sibel and Riza will question their marriage while trying to get rid of the gang. (imdb)
