Saved from an ambush by a mythical condor, Lung Kim-Fei is flown to the bird's blind Master Ku, who teaches Lung the skills of the Buddha's Palm. In gratitude, Lung restores his mentor's sight, destroyed by Master Ku's nemesis Suen. In the process, he falls in love with Suen's granddaughter Kau Yuk-Wah. The Buddha's Palm films, based on the newspaper serial Thousand Buddha's Palm by Shangguan Hong, feature hand-drawn, animated special effects by art director Lo Ki-Ping. (qagoma.qld.gov.au)
