Homeless and without any money, she decides to stay at his place until his return, making use of all his belongings, and spreading the word that she is the composer's collaborator. Newlyweds Eddie and Betty barely moved into their new house before Betty's mother, aunt and brother show up and give every indication of becoming permanent free-loading guests. The plan works and Eddie and Betty are pleased until Dick announces that he and Ruby have intentions...

Another in the long series of "Pete Smith" shorts from M-G-M in which William Newell meets and falls in love with Sally Payne, and begins to budget for their plans to get married. His budget, alas, does not include nor anticipate the plans of Sally and her parents. This short was reissued in June of 1950 to be shown as a trailer with 1950's "Father of the Bride" and some sources think this short was made for that express purpose and date it as a 1950 film.

Joan Summers (Louise Currie) enters the office of jewel merchant Montclaire (Francis Pierlot) closely followed by Kendal Wolf (Kent Taylor). Each recognizes the other to be a jewel thief, and wordlessly they team together to steal a $30,000 diamond. Searched and questioned when the gem is missed, they are released....with the gem. Detective Sharpe (Larry Blake) is still suspicious and so is the head of Jeweler's Indemnity, who puts two underworld men on to retrieve the diamond.
