Madcap debutante Melsa Manton finds a body in a deserted house. Of course, the police don't believe her. Stung by Peter Ames's front page editorial decrying her "prank," Melsa enlists seven fellow debs to help her investigate. Paul Dove lives in Paris and works as an artist. He is visited by Julia Fraser an art buyer and critic who irritates Dove with her opinionated attitude. Although Police Inspector Davd Theron, a friend of the 'novelist' Crane, suspects Crane may be the thief he writes about, he has never been able to prove it. This laudable RKO programmer casts Chester Morris as a fearless pilot whose misdeeds have exiled him to a remote flying field in the Andes mountains. Morris and his fellow pilots are all exiles of sorts, and as such are willing to take on the near-suicidal task of flying supplies to miners in the most treacherous mountain ranges.
