King Ambrose chooses a queen from among the maidens of his kingdom. After they are married, Robin, a young man the queen had known earlier, attempts to steal her from her royal husband. Robin shoots arrows with notes attached and the queen initially runs away with him. The queen, however, rejects her former suitor in favor of the king after Ambrose saves her from a snake. Her rejected suitor plots with the jester to bomb the palace but their plot backfires. (imdb)

Hearing her sweetly playing the piano, a man, stopping to listen and sing along, falls in love with the young piano playing woman, which does not sit well with her boyfriend. The man believes he can win the girl's heart, and attempts to do so using a stolen organ and monkey from an organ grinder. This leads to several altercations between the man and the boyfriend. A country girl and a foppish Englishman inherit an estate, and the terms say that it can't be divided. The terms also state that the two must get married, and if one refuses, then the other gets the entire estate. The girl schemes with her twin brother to trick the Englishman out of his part of the inheritance.

A typical over the top, knock about slapstick comedy from Matt Sennet. Chester Conklin plays a teacher that spends most of the two reels dealing with classroom hijinks in between flirting with his favorite student and fending off the affections of Louise Fazenda. It ends with a windstorm and people running about, falling through ceilings, getting struck by lightning and many other things that suspend your disbelief.
