Virginia Brooks

When the story begins, a country cousin, Helen, arrives in Hollywood to make it big. She stays with her cousin and her friend and the pair assume Helen is very naïve since she's unfamiliar with the big city. However, again and again, Helen shocks them as she seems perfectly suited for the big time...and by the time she arrives at their apartment, a studio boss boss has ALREADY asked Helen to marry him!

Three girls apply for maid jobs at a resort but are taken for royalty when a telegram about their dog Queenie is intercepted.Film producers vie to put them under contract but selling a script idea finally saves them when the bill comes due.

Hollywood hopefuls Virginia Brooks, Rita Flynn and Phyllis Crane finally get a break and cast.... but when Miss Brooks is rehearsing a love scene with her leading man, boyfriend George Chandler doesn't realize it and knocks him down. Later, the director forgives them, and Miss Brooks kisses him..... and Chandler, at the craft table, starts throwing pies.

George Chandler stars in this Educational MERMAID TALKING COMEDY, directed by Fatty Arbuckle. Chandler gets accidentally tangled with a gangster.
