11-year-old Emilija lives in a small town with parents who are close to divorce. One day a boy named Rolanas moves in the neighourhood of Emilija. His father is divorced so children find that they have much in common. The balcony becomes a place where they meet and communicate. Later children start to think about a real date.

Shortly after the fall of the USSR, 12-year-old Kovas travels to his mother Viktorija's homeland for the first time. It's been 20 years since she escaped Soviet-Occupied Lithuania and has now returned to reclaim her beloved family estate. (imdb)
