Rasheed (Lal), an NRI, comes to his hometown Kozhikode on vacation, & after a night of drinking with his friends, accosts a prostitute, Thankam (Sajitha Madathil), with the help of his autorickshaw driver friend Suran (Vinay Forrt). Not able to find a hotel to do the "deed", Suran locks them up in an empty store space next to Rasheed's house, with the promise to come back later to pick them up. However, Suran gets picked up by the cops for DUI, leaving Rasheed & Thankam to fend for themselves.

Kunjananthan (Mammootty), who runs a small store bequeathed to him by his late father, in the village of Vattipuram, has his entire life revolving around it, to the point of ignoring the needs of his wife Chithra (Nyla Usha), with whom he has a frigid relationship. When the government decides to acquire the land in which the store stood, for building a new road, Kunjananthan leads a group of shopkeepers in protesting the move & finding ways to rescind the action.

Obese underachiever Kiran P.S. (Praveen Prem) finally lands the girl of his dreams, the svelte & beautiful Nithya Namboothiri (Avanthika Mohan), but Nithya's father Narayanan (Asokan) would have none of it & constantly comes between them. They make a day getaway to a forest area to relax, but romance turns into horror as they get stuck on a tree on an isolated island in the middle of a lake, with a crocodile stalking them. As the authorities try to rescue them, a political & media circus ensues.

Jackson (Kalabhavan Niyas) who lived in the village of Kambakkara, was bad at studies, but was a hard worker. He worked from dawn to dusk & supported his family, but things go off the rails when he contracts the acting bug & decides that he wants to act in a movie. Being an extremely bad actor, he was spurned everywhere, so he decides to fund a movie himself so that he could be the hero & starts selling off everything he has to raise money for the movie.

The small village of Aadhi kaadu, inhabited by a clan who abide by their own customs & traditions, is frequently attacked by a wild elephant. Frustrated by the authorities' negligence, the villagers decide to bring in a Kumki (domesticated) elephant to confront the wild one. Circumstances induce Bomman (Vikram Prabhu), his uncle Kothalli (Thambi Ramaiyah) & sidekick Undiyal (Ashwin) to arrive at Aadhi Kaadu, masquerading Manikyam, an elephant used for festive occasions, as a Kumki elephant.
