Jayanthi (Ambika), after being impregnated & dumped by her lover & serial womanizer, Babu (Mohanlal), just days before their wedding, pieces her life back together in another place & finds love in the form of her short-tempered but sympathetic boss Lambodharan Nair (Balachandra Menon).
