American GI Ernie Williams, admittedly weak-kneed, has an uncanny resemblance to British Colonel MacKenzie. What Williams is not told is that the Colonel has recently been a target of assassins. After the Colonel's plane goes down, the plan changes and Williams maintains the disguise to confuse the Nazis about D-Day. (imdb)

Separation tells the fragmentary story of a woman named Jane, who is obviously having a bit of a mental breakdown. Her marriage hasn't gone as swimmingly as planned, and while they still see one another on occasion, the relationship is painfully strained. Her husband also appears to be her psychiatrist, yet no parallel is ever drawn between the two via conversation, so she may very well just be seeing her husband within her doctor (or vice-versa). The British I Killed the Count was based on the tricky stage puzzler by Alec Coppel. Cockney comedian Syd Walker plays it more or less straight as Scotland Yard inspector Davidson, at present trying to determine who murdered the much-hated Count Mattoni (Leslie Perrins). The dilemma isn't that Davidson is suffering from a lack of witnesses. In fact, four different people come forth to confess to the killing--each of them with plenty of motive and opportunity.
