A film based on the songs of Evert Taube, about womanizer Fritiof Andersson. On Midsummer's Eve, Fritiof returns to the Island where he grew up. After several years at sea, he plans to settle down with his fiance Linnea. But one evening he meets the Lovely Rosa at a dance- the only trouble is that Linnea and Rosa are good friends.
