Elissa Landi and Charley Chase (playing Asian Charley Chan Chase) host an East Asian themed garden tea party in Hollywood. After introducing a few Hollywood luminaries who are attending the party, they present a number of musical and/or dance performances to entertain the crowd. Pete Fleming and his quartet, which includes himself, Ollie Barrett, ""Simpson and "Beans" Smith, fail to make good on the radio, so Pete becomes a tourist guide. He escorts the wealthy Mrs. Effie Floto and her nieces, Mary Lou, Gloria and Doris, to Hawaii. The other quartet members stow away on the ship. During a dinner party in Hawaii, Ollie, "Red," and "Beans" start singing and Mary Lou joins them. (imdb)

Arthur Peyton is wrestling with a multitude of problems: slow sales, slower collections and a son, Andy, who wants to write stage revues. Andy is being urged on by Francine La Verne, an ex-burlesque performer. Edna, private secretary to the elder Peyton, and Stanislaus, the company janitor, are also preparing an amateur show to celebrate the company's 25th anniversary. Theodore Gateson has agreed to produce a musical Andy wrote in college, but takes Peyton's $50,000 advance and vanishes.
