Interwoven stories of a few individuals & their relationships - a middle-aged painter (Sreenivasan) who loves the dance teacher (Muktha George) next door, a personal trainer (Tovino Thomas) who is a playboy, the meek village-raised guy who feels like a loser (Sudhi Koppa), the music studio owner (Asif Ali) who has an extramarital affair with a wannabe singer (Honey Rose), & Vicky (Anu Mohan), who gets dumped by his live-in girlfriend Tina (Delna Davis) for a better guy.

Set against the backdrop of Kerala's cutthroat 24x7 news media, the movie is about two parallel romance stories - one between two TV anchors, Roopesh Nambiar (Dileep) & Kabani (Nikhila Vimal), at a news channel called 'Nalamidam', & two 50+ year old doctors, Sarayu (Suhasini) & Satheesh (Sashi Kumar), who were lovers in medical school, but who got separated & was meeting again after a long time.

Raghu (Biju Menon), a married middle-aged cop, still pines for his childhood flame Anuradha, & is gruff towards his son Abhi (Asif Ali) & wife Suma (Asha Sharath). Abhi meanwhile, dumps his girlfriend Elizabeth aka Eli (Rajisha Vijayan), but watches with jealousy as his friend dates Eli. Raghu then starts talking to Eli on the phone mistaking her for Anuradha, but the relationship softens Raghu's behavior at home. Finally, on the day of Eli's wedding, Abhi decides he wants her back.

Hari (Wilson Joseph), a serial lover, & his cousin Manu (Sharafudheen), recount to a stranger (Soubin Shahir) at a bar about his failed attempts at finding love. The stranger then sets about to help Hari find a match.

A teenager named Michael a.k.a. Guppy (Chethan Jayalal) makes his living out of rearing & selling the ornamental guppy fish in the gutters, to fulfill his dream of buying an automatic wheelchair for his handicapped mother (Rohini). However, things don't go quite as planned for Guppy when Thejus Varkey (Tovino Thomas), a government engineer comes to the seaside village for the construction of a railway bridge. An unexpected rivalry starts between Guppy and Thejus which derails both their lives.

Vimal Kumar (Indrajith) & Mustafa (Biju Menon) are 2 convicts who escape into the jungles after the police car which transported them crashes & they survive the crash. Vimal, determined to escape to find out the person responsible for the death of his fiance, seeks the help of Mustafa to do it, without realizing that it was Mustafa he was looking for.

The life of newly married couple - Arun (Sunny Wayne) & Swathi (Aditi Ravi) - is disrupted by the arrival of an almairah (cabinet), gifted by Swathi's father (Sadiq). The cabinet becomes a bone of contention between them & finally drives them to divorce.

Set in the fictitious 'Maharaja College', the ascendant left-wing students' political party of SFY, led by Paul (Tovino Thomas) & Subash (Neeraj Madhav), tries to gain a foothold in the college, against the established right-wing students' party of KSQ, led by Roopesh (Roopesh Peethambaran).

Anil Anto (Prithviraj Sukumaran) loses his unborn son in an attempted robbery by Dixon (Sajid Yahiya), the younger brother of 'Gorilla' Darwin (Chemban Vinod Jose), the dreaded crime lord of Kochi. Anil hits Darwin in a fit of rage, & in retaliation, Darwin kept robbing Anil & his wife of every belonging they had. Then Anil gets wind of a robbery Darwin did, & threatens to expose him, unless Darwin returned every piece of household belonging that his goons stole from Anil.

When Mariyam is harassed by Prince (Rahul Madhav), the wayward grandson of businessman Iype (Vijayaraghavan), Jose & Porinju intervene, and this drives a wedge between the and the Iype family. Owing revenge, Prince hires goons to eliminate Jose & Porinju.

Following the death of his ex-wife, Joseph (Joju George), a retired police officer who is known for his investigative prowess, suspects foul play & decides to investigate.

Randu is a socio-political satire that hilariously portrays how the quite normal life of a village youth namely Vava is disturbed by the acts of some communal groups in the village.
