Based on the popular Danish children's book by Ole Lund Kirkegaard, it tells the story about the boy Hodja, who gets a magic carpet from a wise old man while a vicious sultan eagerly wants to steal it. Together with the girl Smaragd Hodja must therefore overcome many perilous adventures before everything can end well.
