Sreedevika

Parthasarathy aka Parthan (Jayaram), a do-gooder, is at constant conflict with his rich uncle, the Panchayat President & village temple secretary Parakkottu Phalgunan Thampi (Jagathi). With his daughter Satyabhama's (Sreedevika) help, Thampi frames & jails Parthan. After his release, after a near-death incident, Parthan develops ESP & also befriends Lord Krishna in the form of Madhavan (Mukesh). Together, they foil radical Musafir's (Kalabhavan Mani) plans to destroy the village temple heritage.

Business magnate Joseph Thomas (Captain Raju) is killed, & his friend Kolappulli Govindan (Devan) is framed for it. Later, Kolappulli too is killed, & this time coolie 'Chala' Vasu, who considered Joseph & Kolappulli amongst his father-figures, gets the blame, in a scheme engineered by Bapputty Haji (Vijayaraghavan), Marthandan Velayudhan (Raghu), ex-MP Rajashekaran (Sadiq) & MLA Sudhakaran (Subair), after a real estate deal goes sour. Vasu then gets out on bail & tries to prove his innocence.

Set in late 1970s, 10 year old Vicky arrives at his grandparents home in rural Kerala to attend his grandfather's funeral. The disjointed family gathers together for the 16 day long funeral period. During this period, Vicky discovers more about himself, his family & culture than he had expected to. Struggling contractor Dinesh Kondody (Jayasurya) sells a house he partially owned to Paramu Nair (Narendra Prasad) to get cash for his share & ease his financial woes, but a resurvey of the land leaves half of the house in Kerala & the other half in Tamil Nadu. The part in Tamil Nadu comes under the ownership of Peria Thevar (Thalaivasal Vijay) & his niece Sundari (Girly) starts living in that part of the house. Dinesh starts living in the other side & soon they are scheming to evict each other.
