Sankara Shastri is a very popular Carnatic singer. He is immersed in the Sangeetha Rasaamrutham (Nectar of Music) with his nirantara saadhana (uninterrupted practice).Tulasi(Manju) is a prostitute's daughter who has great interest in music and dance. She is also an admirer of Shastri and also learns music from him when he used to teach his daughter along the riverside. But her mother wants her to become a prostitute to earn money.

At the behest of the Supreme Court Chief Justice (Somayajulu J.V.), Akila IPS (Vijayshanti), a CBI officer is investigating the case of Siddartha (Suresh Gopi), ex-leader of the student wing of the People's Party, who is accused & jailed for the murder of Mahila Morcha leader Ambika (Geetha). Siddartha breaks out of Akila's custody, regroups with his old party friends, & starts a guerrilla war against the people who framed him, chief of them being the People's Party leader J.K. (Mani C. Kappan).

Father Daniel (Captain Raju), the newly appointed junior priest of the town church, tries to unite the warring Hindus and Christians, with the Christians led by Kariyachan (K.P.A.C. Sunny) & Mathayichan (Rajan P. Dev) & the Hindus led by Raman Nair (Kollam Thulasi). He forms a music troupe, 'Rhythm Orchestra', along with lovers Roy (Vikram) & Hema (Laila), & also tries to unite them. Fr. Daniel faces stiff opposition from various quarters.

Anantha Krishnan (Manoj K. Jayan), an impoverished orphan, comes to eminent singer Raja Raja Varma (Somayajulu J.V.) to learn music, & eventually becomes an accomplished singer himself. Varma's daughter Anju (Chippy) falls in love with Anantha Krishnan & he reciprocates, but Varma would have none of it & kicks Anantha Krishnan out. Years later, Anantha Krishnan, now a famous singer, sees Varma again, only to learn that Anju is now deranged, & Varma broken & repentant.

A Tantric believes that by donating a virgin woman's head to gods crown, would bring down the universe to his feet. How the hero and heroine gets entangled in the underworld nexus, while rescuing the robbery, forms the crux of the plot. (imdb)

Storyline Chiranjeevi plays the dual roles of a Mumbai-based auto driver, Johnny and an industrialist, Kalyan. Because Kalyan was interfering with the plans of the villains, led by Kota Srinivasa Rao, he is first temporarily replaced by Johnny and then framed for the murder of Kalyan's trusted employee (J. V.
