Sofia Bénard da Costa

When he receives a cryptic call from his filmmaker friend to come to Lisbon to help with a project, a sound engineer sets off for the Portuguese capital. Upon arrival, the confused sound man finds only an unfinished film and the splendors of the city.

In fascist Portugal of the late 60s a rich landowner leads an idle life of hunting (animals and women), drinking and enjoying himself.

They live the night the same way they live life: intensely. In a strip-tease joint, these characters leave marks on each other with no amendment. They poison each other, they cure each other. They are on the very brink of love - absolute love.

She's a journalist. He's a corrector of the stock market. Both of them live in the same private high security building but never met.
