Based on the 1911 novel by Cynthia Stockley, this is the story of Dierdre Saurin (Claire Windsor), whose infatuation with Major Kinsella (Arthur Edmund Carewe) takes her to Africa where native uprisings and the jealous connivings of Maurice Stair (Norman Kerry) await her.

Anna Q. Nilsson is the title character, Agnes Lane, a daring spy for the South during the Civil War. She delivers an important message regarding an attack on a Yankee fort, then infiltrates the fort and turns herself in, only to change into a Union soldier's clothes and escape with more confidential information. The Confederate soldiers love her, and treat her with respect, despite her un-ladylike profession.

The Green Goddess is a 1923 American silent adventure film based on the play The Green Goddess by William Archer. Set during the British Raj, it stars George Arliss as the Rajah of Rukh, into whose land arrive three British subjects, played by Alice Joyce, David Powell, and Harry T. Morey.

The story, which is well known to every school child, is taken from Parkman's History and is presented without alteration or embellishment, and in the number of people employed and in the character or the scenic mountings is by long odds the greatest Indian production yet offered under the Kalem trade-mark. Landing in New York, she fortunately secures a position as a parlor maid in a wealthy home. Peggy attends a dance, where she falls into bad company.
