The story is set in a Zamindar's palace. Just like in Velaikaran, Rajni Zamindar Sarath Babu's loyal servant. Dr. Selvam joins Saktivel college with the joint responsibility of History professor and Vice Principal. Aravindan (Kalabhavan Mani), a bourgeoisie ration shop owner, borrows jewelery to marry his sister off, with the hope that the jewelery he would get as dowry via his own marriage can be used to repay the debt. However, his plans are foiled when his wife Saraswathi's (Sujitha) jewelry turn out to be fake. With no other go, he borrows money from multiple usurers. All plans to repay the debts fail & faced with threats from his creditors, Aravindan decides to sell one of his kidneys, to raise money.

Orphaned street boys Shankar (Jayaram), Sivan (Biju Menon) & Karunan (Suresh Gopi) grow up to be thick friends. Shankar & Sivan, who loved music, gets a break to form a band called 'Millennium Stars' with record label head Nair (Devan), & strikes it big, whilst Karunan turns to crime. Ahuja, head of a rival record label, uses Karunan as a pawn & breaks 'Millennium Stars' up. Shankar & Sivan goes solo, but after they flop, finally team up again. An angry Ahuja plans to kill Shankar & Sivan.

A modern day Robin Hood who takes from the rich to provide education for the poor.

Jothi (Urmila Mahanta), a young servant girl has been disfigured in an acid attack, & in the ensuing investigation by the cops, two key figures are interrogated - one is Velu (Sri), a neighborhood street food stall vendor who was in love with Jothi, & the other, Aarthi (Manisha Yadav), a schoolgirl & Jothi's employer's daughter. Both interrogations tell parallel stories which lead up to unraveling the reasons behind the attack on Jothi.

A small group of con men loot the rich as fake CBI officers, until a cop wronged by them joins with the real CBI to take them down.
