Jason and co worker Cleo Arden, not Eve, lead the hunt . which takes them to a small and previously quiet town. There is little tough guy Mousey, who becomes over zealous over the possibility of winning the reward.

Tom Bagby has gone to prison to learn of his father's killer. Returning, he looks for Curly Bogard who he thinks did it. Keeping his identity a secret, he gets a job on Curly's ranch. Just as he gets evidence out of Curly's safe, his cellmate Blackie arrives to expose him.

Henry Rodgers is after Margie's stage line. He has her in trouble by having her gold shipments robbed thereby driving her insurance premiums to an unaffordable level. Eddie and Soapy arrive to help out. Eddie suspects Rodgers but when he breaks into his office, Rodgers apparently kills him. With Eddie out of the way, Rodgers makes the robbery that will put her out of business.

When Eddie and his pals deliver cattle to the Lawrence ranch, they run into trouble with Ringo Evans and his gang. Ringo's men are rustling cattle and attempting to kill the foreman. Seeing the resemblance between the foreman and his pal Waco, Eddie has Waco impersonate the foreman. They then find proof that Evans is behimd the rustling but find themselves greatly outnumbered when the gang attacks.

Eddie and his sidekicks have been called in to help get a new telegraph line through. Dawson and his men along with his stooge Judge are out to stop them. When Eddie and the boys catch three of Dawson's men destroying telegraph equipment, the Judge releases them and this leads to the showdown between the two sides.

Dr. Bill Crawford, on a hunting trip to Canada, is attacked by a bear and his guide, Joe Easter, saves his life and takes the badly-mauled Crawford to his cabin home, where he lives with his beautiful young wife, Alverna. Leaning Bill there to recover, Joe goes on a prolonged hunting trip and Bill and Alverna fall in love. The local doctor, Billar, dies during an operation which Bill completes and then decides to remain in Lost Lake and continue his practice there...close to Alverna.

Elmer fixes up a room for his just-married, freeloading brother-in-law and wife. When the newlyweds show up, Henry brings a surprise in the form of stepson Junior. The apartment is now too small, so Henry decides that they'll buy a lot and build a do-it-yourself home, a disaster in the making when Junior switches the house's part numbers. It doesn't help matters that Elmer, Henry and the wives are all incompetent.

A hen-pecked husband takes his shrewish wife, and her obnoxious little brother, on a weekend camping trip. Along for the ride are the boorish downstairs neighbors (Shemp Howard and Ruth Gillette). A pleasant getaway turns into a nightmare thanks to the antics of Junior, an uncooperative tent, a lazy and oblivious Henry, and a skunk.

Caxton has broken out of prison and Eddie has been sent to bring him in. Caxton is known by the polka dot band on his hat and Eddie has Soapy wear one like it. This gets Soapy arrested as soon as he rides into town but it leads Eddie to Varney and he realizes Varney will lead him to Caxton.

Quirt Thayer, working both sides against the middle, has his gang join with the ranchers seeking revenge against the settlers for raids on the ranchers by Quirt's henchmen.

Ranger Eddie Dean is looking for the outlaw the Tioga Kid, a man he closely resembles. Hugh Herbert and Roscoe Ates are in a bar where all the men wear fezzes. They are trying to make time with cigarette girl Dorothy Granger. Their loud celery-crunching rouses the ire of Jerry Mandy, aka Sham Poo the magician.

"Duke" Gordon (Robert Armstrong), a circus lion-tamer, tries to tames his wife, Laura (Sally Eilers), just as he does his lions. But, she is a one-man woman, married to the wrong man, but refuses to cheat on her cheating husband even though her happiness depends on doing so.
