Eirik and his girlfriend, Jannicke, join newly coupled Mikael and Ingunn, along with single wise-cracker Morten, on a snowboarding excursion to a remote mountainous region in Norway. When Morten breaks his leg, however, and requires medical attention, the friends take shelter in an abandoned nearby ski lodge. Little do they know it also harbors a psychopathic killer.

The movie puts forth how a mental illness is in fact an _illness_ and thus can happen to anyone, and argues how everyone's got problems, but some might have a more difficult time learning how to cope, for various reasons. (imdb)
