"Luifel & Luifel" was a Dutch police series that was broadcast in the fall of 2001 on SBS6. Both seasons of the series were regularly rerun by SBS6 until 2007. "Luifel & Luifel" was co-written, developed, and produced by Chiem van Houweninge, known for comedies such as "Zeg 'ns Aaa" and "Oppassen!!!" and German crime dramas like "Tatort." Initially, Van Houweninge wanted to create a "krimidie," a cross between a crime drama and a comedy. However, in season 2, the series became darker and more
