After Ben Keefer kills Gil Reardon's wife, Reardon seeks revenge. To get to Keefer he has to outdraw one of Keefer's henchmen. But Keefer makes it look like murder amd he is convicted and sent to prison. He escapes, but returning he is captured by the Marshal. The Marshal knows Keefer is a crook but has been unable to convict him. So he lets Reardon escape and Reardon goes off alone to face Keefer and his two brothers. (imdb)

Led by an incompetent Lieutenant, a troop of soldiers is on the Tomahawk Trail in Apache territory. When he lets the Indians steal their horses and gets slightly wounded in a skirmish, Sergeant McCoy takes over command. Jess Brady and Rupe Pardee are in jail in Gunsight, Texas, blamed for leading a wagon train into a Comanche ambush, and about to be hanged.
