Tim Ochopee, a native American and war veteran makes a living on trapping snakes to make anti-venom. Tim adores his pet snakes, especially a rattlesnake named Stanley. Unfortunately his humanitarian compassion towards snakes stands at odds with a snake skin belt manufacturer.

After their parents are killed in a hurricane, Taylor and Tim Reed are unofficially adopted by the semi-retired owner of a marina in the Bahamas. The Reed children are also "adopted" by a friendly sea-lion who they name Salty, and with whom they have a series of adventures. (imdb)
