In this sequel to 'Achanurangaatha Veedu (2006)', Lissamma (Meera Jasmine), the gang rape victim, picks up the pieces & moves on to a new town & new faces. Lissamma marries a coolie who was a communist, Shivan (Rahul Madhav), & settles down, but her life is shattered when Shivan is murdered by his political foes & she is forced to fend for their child, Arjun, alone.

Sam Alex (Prithviraj), who used to be a top cop in the force, shirks work & spends his days in drunken stupor after his wife Teena (Meghana Raj) & daughter are killed by a terrorist & he is unable to stop it. Pattabhiraman Giri (Indrajith), a Malayali Brahmin who lives in North India with his family, is ordered to leave his house by Mahashay Bhagavan (Murali Gopy), a godman, for building his ashram & claiming the surroundings for a land mafia.
