A brutally raped young girl Zahira (Priyanka Nair) escapes the 2002 Gujarat riots, after her half-Keralite family is killed & ends up in Calicut, Kerala. In Calicut, prominent Muslims try to gain control of her & she runs away again. An elderly security guard, Gopalan (Thilakan) gives her shelter & a Hindu name, Radha, to hide her identity. But after Gopalan's Muslim neighbors discover her identity, Gopalan comes under fire for sheltering a Muslim girl & Zahira is moved to an orphanage.

Prabhakaran (Jayaram), a do-gooder & staunch Gandhian struggling to make ends meet, wages a war against the corrupted rule of Panchayath president Avarachan (Jagathi Sreekumar) & his nephew Chandy (Jagadish), in the village of Thonoorkkara, but faces troubles along the way. Left parentless after his mother passes away, Keshu (Navneet Krishnan), a deaf & dumb young boy, is raised by his uncle & aunt. Always suspicious that everyone is mocking his handicaps, Keshu resorts to two things to vent his anger - mischief & drawing. Shalini (Priyanka Nair), the new teacher at the local school, comes to the village & starts living with Keshu's family as a house guest. Shalini sees beyond Keshu's rebellious facade & they develop a deep bond of friendship.

Battling a degenerative eye disease, Ajayan (Dileep) tries to make ends meet for his wife Safiya (Priyanka Nair) & son Deepu (Sidharth). When Safiya gets pregnant a second time, they abort the child to give more love & attention to Deepu. However, when Deepu goes missing after a bomb blast & the couple is overcome with sorrow, they reminisce their abortion decision & think of Deepu's disappearance as payback for it. Ajayan embarks on a long & harrowing search to find his son.

3 juvenile delinquents - Balu (Rohith), Ananthan(Achu Arun Kumar) & Musthafa (Vishnu Unnikrishnan) - escape from a juvie & become suspects in the rape & murder of Aswathi (Anu Sithara), Balu's girlfriend. CI Santosh Kumar (Tini Tom) is tasked to find & bring them to justice.

Alby (Jayasurya) & Meera (Honey Rose) were a poor interfaith couple with a cancer-stricken son Jerry, who they were struggling to keep alive. A surgery was going to cost 13 lakhs, & based on a classified they put in the paper for donations, an elderly man (Shanawas) offers Alby the money, in return for killing a person (Vineeth). Desperate, Alby commits the crime, but also had to abduct the victim's son Rasul (Gourav Menon) who was a witness to the crime, & who also happened to be Jerry's pal.

A college professor, Michael Idicula (Mohanlal), who is also a pastor, suggests making a movie to fund the construction of 2 college hostels, based on the real-life story of the founder of the college, Bullet Vishwan (Anoop Menon). After finding it difficult to find the lead actor to play Vishwan, Idicula dons the role himself, but soon the lines between real life and his character blurs, and he starts to behave as Vishwan himself in real life.
