Bizarre incidents begin to transpire around the house when the ghost of Nagavalli -- a legendary dancer dead for 150 years -- possesses young Ganga (Soundarya) in this engrossing thriller helmed by P. Jeeva (Mohanlal), son of dreaded crime lord Vishwanath (Girish Karnad) & a mobster himself, falls in love with & marries village girl Swarna (Prema), by keeping his real identity a secret. Swarna finds out in due course, & gets Jeeva to promise to change his ways, but Vishwanath threatens to not let them be. Complicating Jeeva's plans to leave the world of crime is Suryadas (Prakash Raj), their arch rival, out to avenge his father Rajasekharan (Sphadikam George), who was killed by Vishwanathan.
