Adapted from the play of the same name by India's foremost playwright, Girish Karnad, this film is derived from the age-old myth of Yavakri.

This is the story of Priya (Kajol) and her life. She is friendly, outspoken, sensitive, yet percocious and apt to get into trouble, brought up by her dad, Amal Raj (Girish Karnad). In her senior school days, she has an admirer in the name of Thomas (Arvind Swamy). She starts to like Thomas as well, the only problem is that her dad does not like Thomas' dad. Arjun (Siddharth), grandson of wealthy businessman Krishna Rao (Nageshwara Rao) & wife (Waheeda Rehman), settled in Germany, is busy enjoying life & hates the idea of marriage. His grandma wanted to get him married, but she dies before this could happen. Krishna Rao retuns to India & Arjun follows, where Krishna Rao insists on his marriage. Arjun, with the help of his friend Puppy, starts to seek out his old classmates - Shalini, Sandhya & Shravani - saying he would only marry one of them.

Prabhu is asked by his Principal to invite the Governor of Tamil Nadu, Kakarla to be the chief guest on the annual day of the college.When he goes to invite Kakarlal, he bumps into his daughter, Shruthi (Nagma), and instantly falls in love with her. To propose his love for her, he joins in the same dance class as her. She too subsequently gets to know more about him, and falls in love with him. The question of whether Prabhu will become a victim or a victor drives the rest of the story.

Two friends, both with the name of Lingam, create a comedy of errors and consequent chaos with their girlfriends and their families.

'Urumi' is set in the backdrop of the fierce warrior clans of Northern Kerala in the 16th century & is the story of Chirakkal Kelu Nayanar (Prithviraj), whose target is Dom Vasco da Gama, the Viceroy of Portuguese Empire in India, to avenge the death of his father Chirakkal Kothuvval (Arya), who was killed by da Gama. Kanji Lalji Mehta (Paresh Rawal), a middle-class Hindu atheist, owns a shop of Hindu idols & antiques in Chor Bazaar, Mumbai. One day, a low-frequency earthquake hits the city, & Kanji's shop get completely destroyed. Next day at the insurance office, Kanji & his neighbor Mahadev (Nikhil Ratnaparkhi) learn that the disaster claim does not cover any damage caused by natural calamities classified under "Act of God". Running out of options, Kanji decides to file a lawsuit against God.

In Paris, cello student Kayalvizhi (Hansika Motwani) falls for billionaire playboy Kamal (Jeyam Ravi), who seemed to flit from girlfriend to girlfriend, but who ran away at the mention of "love" or "commitment". They become friends, but seeing that Kamal wasn't going to commit to anything serious between them, Kayalvizhi turns the tables on Kamal by pretending to have a lot of boyfriends & be frivolous about love. This starts to drive Kamal crazy & makes him realize that he loves Kayalvizhi.
