On the eve of a breakthrough satellite launch which would catapult India to the forefront of agricultural R&D, a group of foreign mercenaries infiltrate the deep jungles of Tamil Nadu in an attempt to launch a missile against the satellite. Duruvan (Jayam Ravi), a forest guard & an NCC trainer, out on a training tour with 5 of his students - Kalpana (Vasundhra), Jennifer (Dhansika), Suseela (Liyashree), Thulasi (Varsha) & Ajitha (Saranya Ponvannan) - stumble upon the plot & try to stop them.

Deva (Surya Sivakumar), a youngster whose mother wants him to become a government official, instead works for a smuggling ring run by Arumuga Das (Prabhu), who has been looking after him since his childhood. Conflict occurs when Das's arch rival, Kamalesh (Akashdeep Saigal) opposes Das & Deva & tries to eliminate them from the smuggling business. Kamalesh, who was more ruthless than Das, turns to drug smuggling to make a quick buck & thus take a shortcut to overtake Das.

Kunjunni (Kalabhavan Mani) is a young man of the Perumannur village who is loved by all. Radha (Meera Nandan), who belonged to a gypsy group, comes to the village to sell statuettes of Lord Krishna. Kunjunni & Radha fall in love, but Radha's father opposes the marriage because Kunjunni was an orphan. Kunjunni later finds out that he actually belongs to a rich family & he had run away from home 20 years back, because his mother Yashoda (Saranya) was too strict & disregarded his musical talents.

Set in 1966, Veluthambi (Vimal), a young man employed with an NGO comes to a remote arid village to teach the children there, but faces disinterest from the local populace who were engaged in brick-making, & had no interest in education. Slowly, he breaks through & convinces them of the value of education, but this doesn't bode well with J.P. (Ponvannan), the local bigwig who was exploiting their illiteracy.

Ace conman Gandhi effortlessly thinks up schemes to swindle gullible and greedy folks. However on a rare occasion, things don't go according to plan and he ends up in the clutches of a ruthless gang who demand schemes from him for money. (imdb)
