Ellen (Jeanne Balibar) works as a flight attendant and one day she discovers that her partner Florian (Georg Friedrich) is cheating on her. She first leaves home, then unexpectedly a flight and is therefore fired. Ellen is almost broke and she doesn't want to go back home, so she becomes sort of a vagabond on her own will and starts a new way of living first in hotel rooms, then as a guest in a commune and tries to confide in strangers.
