Tragicomedy with Ruth Leuwerik as a nuns: In a robbery in Florence, Gauner earned diamonds worth 20 million lire. Back in Naples, they take a room in a pension. Since one of them has a lung inflammation, a nun comes into the house as a nurse. However, the crooks are afraid that the nun is developing detective nonsense, and so they hide the prey in a flowering head. Just in this the nun discovers a sad geranium that needs urgent care.

The singing trio of Susanne, Dieter and Juergen work at an unsuccessful student cabaret. Mr Brenders, a rich entrepreneur offers to fund them, if they change the name of the cabaret to the Lu-Lila bar with a roaring twenties motive. Disguised in black outfits and wigs, the trio soon find out Brenders has them recreating an unsolved murder case from 26 Februari 1927 in which he himself may or may not have been involved.

Towards the end of the century an unusual boy grows up in the small wine-growing town of Etlville: he is Felix Krull, the son of a German vintner who prefers French champagne to his own product. As a women's favorite, he is driven toward a life of "bon vivant" rather than adapting to the social narrowness of a provincial city. Felix begins to experience his talents with his parents, his teachers, his godfather, Schimmelpreester, and finally, with his nanny Genoveva. (Filmaffinity)
