Famous baritone and fifties, Cornelius marries Angelica, 29 years younger. She plans, with the ex-boyfriend Bruno, kill her husband so they can get married later. In honeymoon honeymoon in Cabo Frio, Angelica prepares a huge amount of oysters that Cornelius contract typhus. But the plan goes awry, with her getting sick.
