In some strictly supervised society of the near-future, novelist Adam Gregor feels ill at ease. Official censorship keeps check on his every move. His wife is a conformist. In a fit of anger, he pushes her into a stairwell. Did he kill her? This brave new world does not acknowledge the concept of guilt, so how can Adam atone for his sin? The movie follows two friends. Jack, a sociology student, is seeing the older high society girl Betty, and Hugo, a cynical journalist, falls in love with a photo model.

SYG AND MUNTER is about a man called Arntsen. A disillusioned retired man that lives in Copenhagen by himself. Arntsen sees everything, but he can not handle it. He experiences Christiania's creation, but has become too old to move in there. He tries with love, but is unable to engage.
