Egon and the gang are hired to stage a robbery of an antique Chinese vase for an economically challenged baron. Naturally they fooled, which infuriates Egon. The gang tries to get back at the baron by switching the vase with a cheap Hong Kong copy. One attempt is made during the barons hunting party, where Egon ends up being bricked up in the catacombs. In another attempt, the gang has to coordinate breaking through several walls at The Royal Theater in Copenhagen with the "Elverhøj" overture.

For once Egon is released from prison without a plan. Luckily Benny has a plan which Egon messes up in order to get thrown back in jail. This lets him get the information he needs for his next brilliant plan. The gang steal the plans for Daisy-Land, a plot to turn Denmark into a recreational area for the rest of Europe.

After his anual stay at Vridlose State Prison, Egon Olsen is back with a new plan. This includes braking into EU headquarters in Bruxelles, Belgium and even kidnapping a tank! (E.C. Hermsdorf)

As usual, Egon has an ingenious plan. And, as usual, it works just fine until one of the gang members makes some kind of funny error. This is the last of the two-part finale of the Olsen Banden series (apart from the 1998 revival). Egon comes up with one brilliant plan after another to get the red suitcase in an attempt to assure world peace (and get the millions). This takes Egon and the gang to Paris, where they raise havoc at Maxim's by replacing the Sauce Imperial with traditional Danish gravy. Appointed by King Frederick VI (Henning Moritzen) as governor of the Virgin Islands, Peter fights for the education and liberation of the island's black residents, former slaves, while keeping a black mistress on the islands and a wife at home in Denmark. Irony abounds in this comical Norwegian story of two comedians married to each other. At first husband Stig is the star, a stand-up comic noted for his bawdy monologues and cutting remarks about his many friends and acquaintances. He loves his career and has a great time until the terrible night that his greatest fan, a stuffy insurance broker laughs himself to death in the audience. After that poor Stig cannot perform without seeing the broker's face staring back. (imdb)

Street punk Per is hired by a shady CEO to burn down a factory as part of a bigger scheme. When the plan goes wrong he hides in the CEO's country house where he soon catches the eye of the CEO's beautiful wife.

The concept is a classical one. A number of characters move independently but inexorably towards a crossing of roads that will make a major impact on their future destinies. In his coming-out movie as a writer-director, Anders Rønnow Klarlund puts this storytelling technique to use in a highly contemporary style and fashion. (zentropa)

Literature critic Ole Jastrau (Ole Ernst) changes his way of life and starts drinking heavily.

This picture reveals Denmark at the second half of the 19th century in the way the literature of that period (the so called critical realism) does. Aristocratic family bears the brunt of the tyranny of its head, Nils Uldahl-Ege. Once madly in love with his wife he betrays her giving way to his primitive lust. From that moment on, life of the whole family increasingly becomes intolerable due to Niles's numerous adulteries and outbursts of sudden anger.

A new foreman, Huus, arrives in a sleepy Danish village, much to the delight of the unmarried women there. However, Huus becomes very friendly with Katinka and her husband, Bai, the stationmaster. Katinka, childless and in frail health, gradually falls in love with Huus, though her husband does not seem to notice. (imdb)

Claus Worm, an affluent architect finds his private life crumbling, his business on a downward curve and, finally, his health failing. Worm also finds himself coerced into working for dirty money in a deal that may involve murder. Is it all true or is it paranoia? It is writer-director Henning Carlsen's conceit that audiences be left to fully share the protagonist's deadly doubts.
