A man gets out of prison. Like a modern Ulysses he will undertake a homeless journey into contemporary Athens peopled by migrants, homeless, and other marginalized persons of the society. On his way he will meet a woman and a little girl. Are the three of them members of a disrupted family or just persecutors and victims of a violent and conflict driven society that prevents them from living together?

After many years of absence, young Antigone returns to a small and quiet Greek town, determined to settle down. She meets old friends, gets a job as an English teacher and even meets up with an ex-boyfriend. Her search for tranquility, however, ends up becoming a complicated task. Life is quiet there, but a surge of violence, discrimination and a collective, unspoken rule of complicity between victims and perpetrators reign.
